Individual Subscriptions
An individual subscription runs for 1 year and may be used by one person or by the staff of one school. It's a recurring payment system but, for non-recurring, you can easily cancel any time after the first payment (you still get a whole year's access). If you do not wish to renew after one year, simply cancel any time before your subscription would next have been due and it will expire on that renewal date. Filling out and sending the form means you have read and agreed to our Terms & Conditions. We prefer schools to pay by card but, if you can't, please contact us at [email protected] for an alternative means of payment.
If you are a teacher, you could be entitled to a discount if you join via your local music service or hub. Please contact your local music service to enquire whether they are affiliate members. Lancashire Music Service, for example, is a Music Playtime affiliate.
If you are a parent, you are very welcome to take out a subscription. All the activities are suitable for you and your child, whether or not you have any musical knowledge or training. You may want to invite a few little friends for some of the games but, if you are part of a young-at-heart family, you'll all have fun taking part yourselves! You'll need some simple, child-friendly instruments; a set of chime bars is a basic essential but boxes, peas in a tin and saucepans make good, cheap additions to your collection!
When you subscribe ...
(i) Your card will be debited straight away and your subscription will begin immediately. Unless you cancel during the course of your subscription year, your card will be debited again one year later. After taking out the initial card payment, the agreement may be cancelled at any time, with no further obligation.
(ii) To cancel your agreement, please log in at www.music-playtime.com, a minimum of three working days before the renewal date.
(iii) Payments cannot be cancelled via your bank or card provider and any payment dispute should be taken up directly with Arts Enterprise Limited by emailing [email protected], where it will be dealt with promptly and fairly.
(iv) If you are unable to cancel via the above method, an email may be sent to [email protected] where we will deal with your request. Please note that three working days' notice are required ahead of the due payment date.
Refunds Policy
(i) If you change your mind about subscribing, a refund will be given only within seven days of taking out the subscription. No refunds will be given after seven days have expired, even if you have not used your subscription.
(ii) Forgetting to cancel your subscription does not legally entitle you to a refund. However, if you did forget to cancel and you wish to apply for a refund, the correct procedure is to contact us within seven days of the renewal date. In this case we will usually refund your payment as a gesture of goodwill, subject to a very small administration charge.
(iii) Not using your subscription does not legally entitle you to a refund after the seven-day, cooling-off period.
Multi-use subscriptions
Multi-use subscriptions are for academy trusts and music hubs and services. To apply for affiliate membership and buy subscriptions for re-distribution at a discount price, please fill in the Multi-use contact form on the homepage, telling us approximately how many subscriptions you need (one per school). We will get back to you soon to discuss your needs.
Trial subscriptions
You may try Music Playtime free of charge for one, two-week period. The free trial cannot be offered for a second time to the same user.
Liability for use of our resources on customer's hardware and operating systems
(i) We accept no liability for lack of, or poor quality of, streaming service due to the speed of the user's internet connection.
(ii) We accept no liability for lack of streaming availability due to the use of outdated browsers and/or operating systems.
(iii) We accept no liability for lack of streaming availability due to schools' servers not being configured to accept Music Playtime.
